Hospital Policies

Patients are seen by appointment. While we strive to see all patients at their scheduled time, sometimes emergencies can occur. If a sick patient does come in, there may be a delay in your appointment time. We will see your pet as soon as is possible, and thank you in advance for your understanding.

For your safety and that of your pet, please bring your pet in a carrier or on a  secure collar and leash. Scared pets can sometimes bolt. We can provide you with a temporary leash or carrier if you need one.

Payment in full is due when services are rendered. We accept cash, check, debit cards, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Please ask for an estimate for any services, and we will be glad to give you one.

Surgeries are performed in the morning, so we require pets to be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. If you require a little earlier or later drop off time, please let us know.
Pets need to be on an empty stomach for surgeries and dental cleanings. Please do not feed your pet after 8 p.m. the night before the surgery, and no water after 6 a.m. the morning of the surgery. We will inform you of the pickup time when your pet checks in.
Also please make sure that all pets have "bathroom time" before arriving for surgery. This will help ensure that you have a clean pet to go home!
